Do you or someone you know have a severe mobility impairment &/or a life-threatening illness?
Southern Sportsmen Foundation is pleased to announce their 2017 hunt schedule for whitetail deer. This hunt is for individuals that have a severe mobility impairment &/or a life-threatening illness.
The youth “Hunt of a Lifetime” will be held near Mineral Springs, AR October 27th through October 29th, 2017 at Starch Creek Hunting Club. This event is for youth hunters up to 18 years old.
Youth hunters must be able to arrive by 3:00 PM on October 26th for a pre-hunt orientation & must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian.
The adult hunt nicknamed the “Redneck Safari” will be held near Foreman, AR November 15th through 17th, 2017.
Adult hunters must be able to arrive by 11:00 AM on November 15th and are welcome to bring a non-hunting companion. Six (6) disabled hunters and two (2) alternates will be drawn for this event.
Every year hunter’s have had numerous shot opportunities with most hunters bagging a deer.
For both hunts lodging, meals & license will be provided by the foundation. However, hunters will be responsible for their travel expense. Hunters born after December 31, 1968 & at least 16 years old must possess a valid hunter’s safety card.
All hunt applications must be received by September 15, 2017. Hunters chosen will be notified by September 30, 2017. For your convenience an application is attached to this message or you may go to our website at www.sharingtheoutdoors.com
