Resource Center on Spinal Cord Injury
In
1990,the Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission (ASCC) developed a resource
center on spinal cord injury with the cooperation of the Paralyzed
Veterans of America Spinal Cord Injury Education and Training
Foundation. The resource center provides information and educational
resources about spinal cord injuries and the effects they have
on the people who live with them to ASCC clients, health care
providers, and the general public.
Located
in the Little Rock office, the resource center now contains over
1500 resources including books, magazines, videos, catalogs, and
articles, all of which can be borrowed free of charge. In addition,
the resource library distributes fact sheets on over 30 different
SCI related subjects.
